This is Fr. Adrian Lee’s last weekend at St. Mary’s and the Missions Parish, as he gets ready to return to Rome for his final year of studies. We have been blessed by his presence and ministry, so let us continue to pray for him. His thoughtful homilies and his joyful presence will be missed. Once Fr. Lee leaves our parish, Fr. Emmanuel will begin his regular schedule of weekend Masses, and until he is fully licenced to drive in Ontario, he will be driven to our mission churches by generous parishioners who signed up to help. When I first asked for help for driving Fr. Emmanuel to the missions, I did not expect how generous the response would be. Over 20 parishioners signed up to help drive Fr. Emmanuel to the missions. I am very thankful for their willingness to help. I am encouraged by the attitude of our parishioners who remind me that I am not alone in this important work of sharing the joy of the Gospel; we are in this together!
